Andreas Faika is an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he contributes to the institute’s projects on critical and emerging technologies and neurotechnology. He is interested in the strategic implications of advanced technology on security considerations and foreign policy.

Andreas is currently studying at the Technical University of Munich, where he pursues a double master’s degree in electrical engineering and management with a focus on politics and economics. Over the past years, he has studied abroad at the National University of Singapore and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

Prior to joining GPPi, Andreas was a working student in microwave imaging and machine learning at the Munich-based technology group Rohde & Schwarz. During his studies he also interned in operations and business analytics at AeroGround Munich and in hardware development at PULS, a manufacturer of power adapters.
