Aditi Mukund is a 2024 – 2025 German Chancellor Fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin. During her fellowship, she will focus on diversity and inclusion in foreign policy, particularly through think-tank cooperation between India and Germany as well as through addressing human security and non-traditional security issues. A key aspect of her research includes advancing feminist foreign policy in these contexts.

In parallel, Aditi runs the Women in International Relations Network, a platform that seeks to amplify the voices of women in international security, foreign policy, and peacebuilding, with a specific focus on India and the Global South.

Previously, Aditi was a Program Associate at the Kubernein Initiative, a Mumbai-based geopolitical advisory and think tank, where she led projects on gender and foreign policy, focusing on India, the Indo-Pacific and the EU. In addition to her policy research, she has worked with start-ups, non-profits and research organizations on projects related to gender in international development, sustainability, and tackling misinformation and disinformation.

Aditi holds a master’s degree in International Studies from Symbiosis University, Pune, and has a dual bachelor’s in Mass Media and in English Literature and Psychology from the University of Mumbai.
