Holding mining companies accountable is a dangerous business

Human rights defenders working on corporate accountability issues in extractive industries face the most attacks, according to a new database launched on February 27 by the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre. Janika Spannagel contributed cases to the database, which were taken up by special procedures of the UN Human Rights Council.
