The future of German crisis prevention needs more than ambition
Whatever contributions Germany makes to improving crisis prevention must be based equally on humility and the ambition to make a difference, agreed the participants of a lunch discussion held during the Körber Foundation’s annual Berlin Foreign Policy Forum on November 29. Moderated by Philipp Rotmann, the wide-ranging debate included Crisis Group’s Jean-Marie Guéhenno and the Federal Foreign Office’s Christian Jetzlsperger. The event was part of PeaceLab2016, Germany’s series of discussions on the future of crisis prevention and peacebuilding.
