Humanitarian aid increasingly out of reach for people affected by conflict

The SAVE research project finds that crisis-affected people in Syria, Afghanistan and South Sudan largely perceive a declining presence of humanitarian aid, reported The Guardian in an article on November 10. The project, implemented by GPPi and its partner, Humanitarian Outcomes, finds that agencies tend to overstate their on-the-ground presence. The research also showed that aid in war zones is becoming less responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable people.
