Uncertainty ahead for China’s civil society

How will China’s new law on foreign NGOs impact China’s civil society? This was one of the key questions raised by Katrin Kinzelbach at the Robert Bosch Foundation’s China Talks on October 5 in Berlin. While the panelists differed in their assessment of the new law’s restrictiveness, they agreed that international civil society should remain engaged in China.
