Transatlantic cooperation should focus on refugee responsibility sharing

From among the many areas of global migration that are in need of greater cooperation, sharing responsibility for refugee protection more evenly across the international community should be the primary focus of the US and the EU, said Julian Lehmann at the Zukunft transatlantica conference on July 7, organized by the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Lehmann discussed opportunities for mutual learning about migration on a panel with Green politician Katrin Göring-Eckardt, researcher Audrey Singer and journalist Ali Aslan.
