German humanitarian NGOs should follow through on commitments made at World Humanitarian Summit

There currently exists no mechanism for ensuring that the humanitarian commitments developed at the World Humanitarian Summit in May will be fully implemented, said András Derzsi-Horváth in a presentation to members of the German Humanitarian Aid Coordinating Committee in Freiburg on June 29. Derzsi-Horváth​said that German NGOs should encourage proper follow-up by focusing their advocacy efforts on the leads of the Grand Bargain’s 10 working groups, among other measures.
