Council on Foreign Relations features GPPi book on EU-China human rights dialogue

To mark the release of the paperback version of The EU’s Human Rights Dialogue with China, the Council on Foreign Relations interviewed Katrin Kinzelbach about her book’s main findings for its Asia Unbound podcast on April 15. Originally published in 2015, the book examines European quiet diplomacy towards China. In the podcast, Kinzelbach discussed future policy options and argued that public shaming is more likely to have a positive impact on China’s worsening human rights situation than diplomatic talks behind closed doors.
