GPPi co-hosts workshop on role of African think tanks in addressing policy challenges

Representatives from 16 African civil society organizations and think tanks gathered in Johannesburg for a workshop hosted by GPPi and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation to discuss ways to encourage research uptake within the policy community, particularly with respect to localizing sustainable development goals (SDGs). The event, held from October 12 to 13, was part of the African Civil Society Circle initiative, which seeks to strengthen African voices in global development debates.
