Experts call for end of Angolan government’s human rights crackdown

Angola’s government is intensifying its crackdown on human rights and must be challenged, argues an international group of leading experts on the country, including Ricardo Soares de Oliveira. The group calls on politicians and business leaders from Portugal, France and the UK to pressure Luanda for greater respect for human rights rather than solely focusing on investment opportunities.
