GPPi speaks at annual meetings of operational IT security teams

Incident response teams need to be more involved in national and international discussions on cybersecurity and confidence-building measures, argued Isabel Skierka and Tim Maurer at a conference for national Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) on June 20 in Berlin. Skierka and Maurer presented research on CSIRTs, conducted in 2015 by GPPi and New America. On June 17, Skierka and Mirko Hohmann led a workshop on the political context of CSIRTs at the annual meeting of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST).
