GGF 2025 fellows present report on the future of geoengineering governance at Brookings

Is geoengineering – solar radiation management, in particular – a desirable method of countering the effects of global warming? How does geoengineering fit into ongoing mitigation efforts? Fellows of the Global Governance Futures program (GGF) discussed these questions with invited experts David Goldston, Nathan Hultman and Simon Nicholson on May 5 at Brookings in Washington, DC. The fellows of the geoengineering working group presented their final report and discussed the developments in, and the future of, geoengineering governance with the panel.
