UN crisis diplomacy needs strengthening

Increasing global fissures are undermining attempts by the UN, now 70 years old, to broker diplomatic solutions to crises like those in Syria, Iraq, Ukraine and South Sudan, argues Thorsten Benner in a new article inVereinte Nationen.
