Atrocity prevention requires closer collaboration across the Atlantic and the globe
At a roundtable hosted by GPPi on February 18, experts discussed what governments, parliaments and civil society across the Atlantic can do to better prevent atrocities. Participants called for broadening the discussion beyond the global north and suggested jointly developing lessons on early warning and the past effectiveness of diplomatic, financial, judicial and military instruments. The roundtable was part of a project led by Lee Feinstein and Tod Lindberg and supported by the US Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Stanley Foundation.
