Ameerah Haq joins the GPPi advisory board

GPPi welcomes the newest member of the advisory board – Ameerah Haq, the former UN under-secretary general for field support and the acting vice-chair of the High-Level Independent Panel on UN Peace Operations. A national of Bangladesh, Haq served the UN for 40 years, including as special representative of the secretary-general in Timor-Leste, deputy special representative in Sudan and in Afghanistan, as well as deputy assistant administrator of the UN Development Programme. Her unique expertise will enrich GPPi’s work on issues of peacekeeping, humanitarian action and development.
