GPPi and partners discuss research findings on global norm evolution and Responsibility to Protect

The Central European University hosted a workshop for the research team working on Global Norm Evolution and the Responsibility to Protect, led by GPPi. The group includes 18 scholars from seven academic institutions in China, India, Brazil and across Europe. The team recently published a special issue of Conflict, Security and Development on Major Powers and the Contested Evolution of a Responsibility to Protect. The eight papers – which explore the positions of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the USA and Europe on R2P – are available as pre-published versions. A recap of the panel debate and workshops is available on Storify.
