Principled foreign policy is essential for effective human rights protection, says researcher

From June 13, Katrin Kinzelbach co-taught a 10-day clinical seminar on rights and governance. The course is a core component of the highly competitive Open Society Internship on Rights and Governance program (OSIRG), which allows outstanding public policy students to be trained in the ideas and practice of open society. In her lectures, Kinzelbach emphasized that the multilateral protection of human rights hinges upon the willingness of states to advance principled positions.
