GPPi, InterAction and Saferworld release civil society recommendations on security and development
GPPi, together with InterAction
and Saferworld
, released a set of recommendations
for the European Union and the United States to improve development cooperation in fragile and conflict-ridden states. The recommendations were developed as a part of the Transatlantic Civil Society Dialogue
. Through conferences, a continuous feedback process and a separate consultation with African civil society representatives, the project developed priorities of addressing ‘drivers and root-causes’ of fragility: focusing on political, social and economic inclusion and equality.
