Internship opportunity: GPPi partners with OHCHR and DAAD

The GPPi human rights program is partnering with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva to offer an internship opportunity that is fully funded through the Carlo Schmid Programm of the German Academic Exchange Service. The Carlo Schmid Programme is an initiative aimed at supporting internships in international organizations.

The successful candidate will be based with OHCHR in Geneva from September 2013 to February 2014. The intern will serve as a focal point for a research project conducted by GPPi on releases of imprisoned human rights defenders. The intern will also provide research assistance for staff members of OHCHR’s Research and Right to Development Division.
