Zsófia Ágota Heidrich
Research Assistant

Zsófia Ágota Heidrich is a research assistant at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi), where she contributes to the institute’s work on peace, security and strategic foresight. As part of the REUNIR project, she supports research on authoritarian influence in Eastern Europe, aimed at strengthening the EU’s foreign and security policy to support the Eastern Neighborhood and Western Balkans in resisting malign foreign influence.
Before joining GPPi, Zsófia worked as an intern at CRISP – Crisis Simulation for Peace e.V., where she contributed to simulation-based peacebuilding projects, media literacy training and conflict transformation programs. She also worked as a teaching assistant in International Relations at the University of Freiburg, where she designed and led sessions on international politics and security.
Zsófia holds a bachelor’s degree in Governance from the University of Freiburg, specializing in post-conflict societies and gender-based violence. She is particularly interested in the intersection of transitional justice, conflict transformation, and feminist security policy.
