Mike Chiu

Mike Chiu is an intern at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he contributes to the institute’s work on Global Order through its Global Dialogue program. His research interests focus on German-China and EU-China relations, as well as their strategic implications for the Indo-Pacific region.

Prior to joining GPPi, Mike was as a scholar intern at the D. H. Chen Foundation, a family philanthropy in Hong Kong. He also served as a quality assurance intern at the ASEAN University Network Secretariat in Bangkok.

He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in political science at the University of Heidelberg with a concentration on German-China and EU-China relations.
