Marc Shkurovich

Marc Shkurovich is a communications associate at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he contributes to the institute’s publications and strategic communications initiatives. His interests include the political economy and governance of emerging technologies.

Before joining GPPi, Marc worked as an editor at The Syllabus, a digital publication and knowledge curation platform. There, he authored weekly newsletters and managed the publication of verticals on new financial technologies, post-neoliberalism, and climate populism. His previous professional experience includes stints at an independent bookstore and public relations firm in Los Angeles; a publisher of literature in translation in Brooklyn; and an international legal aid NGO in Tel Aviv.

Marc completed his master’s degree at the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin, with a dual concentration in sociology and cultural studies. He holds his bachelor’s degree, also in American Studies, from Yale College.
