Jobs & Internships

Interested in joining GPPi? Working with GPPi provides challenging and intellectually stimulating opportunities to address some of the most pressing global policy challenges of our time through research, policy advice, and dialogue activities. The majority of our team is based in our office in Berlin. Our working language is English. Knowledge of German (and other languages such as Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, or French) is an asset.

We value diversity and try to create an inclusive work environment for colleagues of all backgrounds. If you have a question or would like to suggest reasonable adjustments to the application process, please contact Wade Hoxtell.

To join the GPPi team, there are a few different avenues available to you.

Apply for an Open Vacancy

We recruit for specific positions for particular research, advisory or dialogue projects. Whenever such vacancies arise, we advertise them here:
(Currently, no vacancies)

Please send all attachments in PDF format since we do not open any other type of document to protect ourselves from pervasive malware. Please do not include a photograph of yourself in your application or use a Europass CV.

Interning With Us

GPPi runs a small internship program for current students or students between bachelor’s and master’s degrees who are interested in gaining first-hand experience in public policy research and consulting. Candidates who already have a graduate degree (a master’s or an equivalent) and are not currently enrolled at a university are not eligible to apply for our internship program. Internships are normally based in our Berlin office and may last up to a maximum of three months (exceptions apply only if a longer duration is required by the candidate’s university).

We do our best to match the qualifications and interests of our interns with research, advisory and dialogue projects to which they can contribute the most. Whenever we foresee an internship opportunity, we advertise it here:

(Currently, no internship opportunities)

We encourage international applicants. Please note: Accepted internship candidates will be responsible for arranging their own visa if one is required. If needed, we can provide a letter of invitation and an internship contract to support this process.
